True Confessions

Honestly, I don’t feel like I have much to confess this week. Next week, will be a different story though! My son’s birthday is Thursday and mine is Friday, so let me tell you there will be cake, and parties, and lots of food.

Anyway, here are my confessions:

  1. I’d gotten a little behind on the EAS 30-day Challenge, but now I’m just about caught up! I think I’m only 1 day behind now, which isn’t bad!
  2. I’ve been eating really well, and obviously working out, even adding in some extra workouts and outdoor activities.
  3. I have been very stressed because of party planning and trying to fit everything in to my daily schedule.
  4. I’ve also been stressed because I have family coming to visit.
  5. Everyday when I step on the scales the number is worse. I just don’t get it. It’s so very frustrating.
  6. This past week, I’ve considered giving up more than once. Heck, more than 3 times. I’m just really over this.
  7. This is going to turn into a big, fat whinefest. I can feel it.
  8. WHY is it that I’m working out, more than I’ve ever worked out, and it seems like I’m running backwards? For real.
  9. Okay, I’m done. I’m going to go drink some water, since I just got done working out. TWICE.

  • DUDE! HOOKER!! CHIN UP, BABY!! Just think, there is only one way to never get there that is a mathematical certainty, and that's to quit. And you just wouldn't be happy with that. Just be consistent and it'll catch up to you! You're kicking some serious ASS!!! Yes it all just sucks sometimes and you spin your wheels but then all of a sudden you're not! Stay strong, little root!!!

    Stop stepping on the scale every day. I know, I know- it's the pot calling the kettle black. Sometimes, I HATE the scale. Regardless, YOU CAN DO THIS and YOU WILL DO THIS and f#$% what the scale says 'cuz you look AWESOME. How do you feel?

    Turn that frown upside down, little one!! You've been doing this long enough to know that there will be weeks like this. You can do it. Don't give up!

    you know you can't give up - because you have an entire sisterhood that would hunt you down and kick your rearend!!! :) i know it sucks and is frustrating, but you'll get there.

    also - don't hate on working out. even if its causing your problems for the moment - it'll make you healthier and at the end of the day that should be the most important thing
  • You will not quit. I won't let you. Sooner or later, it will catch up with you. And you KNOW it is doing your body good, which is the only reason that matters in the end. ;o)
